There should not be any doubt about the artificial intelligence (AI), which may impact on all businesses whether its large or small. However what impact it will be having, that prediction is tough but it's definite that there will be an impact, whether good or bad.  

What is AI technology? 

As per computer science, artificial intelligence ( AI ), sometimes called machine intelligence. Intelligence demonstrated by machines, unlike the natural intelligence displayed by humans and animals. As per the textbook, it defines the field as the study of intelligent agents, any device that can sense its environment, think, learn, and takes action in response to what its sensing and the objectives. Let’s know, what is AI emotional intelligence? In the simplest form, it’s the ability to not just solve problems, but understand and attach with the details why those problems are occurring and how they impact other people. It’s the ability to care. Rather than getting stuff done, people with high emotional intelligence get stuff done in a way that works best for those they are working for. While technology is getting smarter and more real-time, the need for high emotional intelligence in our use of technology is continuing to grow in its importance.

Emotion AI modestly measures unfiltered and unbiased facial expressions of emotion through its optical sensor or just a standard webcam. Its first try to recognize a human face in real-time or through an image or video. Computer vision algorithms uses to identify key landmarks on the face, like, the angles of your eyebrows, the tip of your nose, the angles of your mouth. Its take help of deep learning algorithms then analyse pixels in those areas to classify facial expressions. Combinations of these facial expressions are then mapped to emotions.

As companies searches new way for better performance for their employees, this new emotion-sensing technology can help employees to improve their attentiveness, and adopt better and more productive work styles with better decision. Though it’s a very early stage, research shows that these technologies, can read such things as eye movements, facial expressions, and skin conductance, can help employees make better decisions, improve concentration, and stress. 

For marketing companies, it’s a special need for emotional intelligence which is also essential. It can help to reach out to customers to let them know that store is open. It’s also another way to understand that your customers are afraid, worried, living on this rising budget. These are things data and analytics don’t flag without human perspective. That’s where today’s marketers need to step up their emotional intelligence.
